KG School: The Stepping stones
The KG curriculum is designed to provide stepping-stones for children to embark on their educational journey. The focus is on creating a fun and engaging learning environment that helps children develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills. The curriculum is designed to be age-appropriate and encourages children to explore and discover the world around them through play-based learning. By using games, songs, stories, and hands-on activities, children can develop important cognitive and language skills while having fun. The KG curriculum also emphasizes the importance of nurturing children’s social and emotional development, helping them build positive relationships with their peers and teachers, and developing their self-confidence and self-esteem.
In addition to the aforementioned areas of focus, the KG curriculum also incorporates subjects such as STEM, Arabic, leveled reading in Arabic, Religion, and Quran.
The STEM curriculum in KG introduces young learners to concepts related to science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun and interactive way. Through hands-on activities, children can explore and experiment with different materials and learn about basic scientific principles.
The Arabic subject in KG introduces children to the Arabic language and culture. It helps children develop their communication skills in Arabic, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The curriculum also includes Arabic leveled reading, which allows children to practice their reading skills and learn new vocabulary in a supportive environment.
Religion is an important component of the KG curriculum, and it provides children with a foundation in Islamic values and principles. Through age-appropriate lessons and activities, children can learn about the importance of prayer, fasting, and other religious practices. The Quran curriculum in KG introduces children to the holy book of Islam, teaching them to read and recite the Quran in Arabic. Children learn about the stories and teachings contained within the Quran, helping them develop a deeper understanding of their faith.
